What we collect, why, how long, and your rights.

Who we are

Mansio Group is a Portuguese operating partnership for family businesses approaching succession. We are the data controller for any personal information you share with us through this website.

You can reach us at hello@mansiogroup.com. Our registered details are on the legal page.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us directly, through one of three surfaces:

  • Contact form: name, email address, and message.
  • Newsletter signup: email address only.
  • Booking form: name, email address, phone number, company name, and optionally a sector tag, a revenue band, and a free-text discussion topic.

We do not ask for and do not store any other personal information through the website.

Why we collect it

Each surface has a single, narrow purpose:

  • Contact form submissions are read and replied to from our shared inbox.
  • Newsletter signups receive an email when we publish new insights — never a sales sequence, never a third-party promotion.
  • Booking form submissions create a Google Calendar event on the Mansio Group calendar and send you a calendar invitation with the meeting details.

The legal basis for processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at the address above.

How long we keep it

Contact and booking submissions are retained for as long as is necessary to follow up on the conversation they relate to, and then archived for a reasonable period in case the conversation resumes. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Calendar events live on the Mansio Group calendar in the ordinary course.

If you want any of your information removed earlier, email hello@mansiogroup.com and we will delete it within 30 days.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies, does not store personal information, and does not track visitors across sites. Plausible aggregates anonymous page views to help us understand which insights are read and which surfaces work. The full Plausible data policy is at plausible.io/data-policy.

No cookie banner is shown because we do not use cookies for tracking. The site stores a single preference in your browser's local storage to remember your theme choice (light or dark); that value never leaves your device.

Who else sees your data

The only third parties that touch your personal information are the service providers we use to operate the website:

  • Vercel hosts the website. Submissions transit Vercel infrastructure in the EU.
  • Google Workspace hosts our shared inbox and the Mansio Group calendar. Booking form submissions create a calendar event there.
  • Plausible receives anonymised, cookie-less page-view data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with anyone. We do not run targeted advertising and we are not part of any ad network.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete your information.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, CNPD).

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mansiogroup.com.

Updates to this policy

We update this policy when our data practices change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page is the canonical timestamp. Material changes will also be summarised in the next newsletter to anyone subscribed at the time.
